Unfortunately, no, for now we are unable to send in Naira. This is due to a directive from the Central Bank of Nigeria who required all remittances to be paid out in USD and is beyond Sendwave’s control. We hope that at some point in the future, we will again by able to send to Naira accounts. However, at this time we do not know when or if it will be possible. However, if your recipient has a Naira account at First Bank, GTB, or Access Bank, you can send to their Naira account one time to automatically create a domiciliary account for them. This allows you to continue to send to their new domiciliary account going forward and removes the hassle of cash pickup :)
